The TransAtlantic sessions (find them on YouTube) brought together Celtic and North American musicians to cross-fertilize their songs. From 7 to 10 pm we'll be doing most Irish music from groups like The Dubliners, The Drop Kick Murphies, and singers (featuring songs by Van Morrison), and one or two fiddle tunes in each set, with some music from other Celtic countries and our own continent. It will be a Craic evening of fun!!
I think I can safely say that we are the House Band for the seniors at Chesterfield. This is something like our 12th gig there! They keep inviting us back, and we appreciate it.
We're back at Evangeline's where the food is great and the music hot. We'll be playing for 3 hours, ending around 10 pm. We'll preview some new tunes developed for our BIG HOLIDAY celebration at Evangeline's on Dec. 19.
